GREEK PITA WITHOUT YEAST with yogurt, bread recipe easy and quick to fill, idea for a packed lunch, for dinner, to make in a short time.
The Greek pita is a round and low Arabic bread traditionally made with sourdough, but there are different versions of this bread, just like here, with different flours or indeed different leavens.
The same applies to the filling, the Greek pita is usually filled with tzatziki sauce HERE based on yogurt, with vegetables, chickpeas or meat like the typical kebab, but obviously we can fill it in many other ways.
Similar to a piadina or naan bread, it is excellent for rolling, light, and good, and this version was made with yogurt instead of water and with instant yeast.
A simple idea for a quick dinner, especially if you don’t have time to stay in the kitchen for hours, you can cook the bread in a pan or, if you prefer, in the oven.
