Ingredients
- 4 leaves savoy cabbage
- 5.3 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1.8 oz smoked provola
- 0.85 cups tomato sauce
Preparation
Put the tomato sauce in a pan with a couple of tablespoons of oil and salt to taste.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with the egg, bread pieces, provola, and salt if you prefer.
Wash the cabbage leaves and stuff them with the filling, close into a package and tie with kitchen string or a toothpick.
Cook over low heat with the lid closed for 10-15 minutes adding a bit of water.
