Extra tips
Choose soft cheeses: stracchino, robiola, or fresh cheese spread easily and make the wraps creamy.
Flexible bread: bread rolls should be elastic, soft â perfect when freshly opened.
Aim for aesthetics: use olives and cherry tomatoes of different colors and set aside a few basil leaves to decorate at the last moment.
Let it rest: put the wraps in the fridge 10 minutes before serving, they firm up and stay fresh longer.
Creative variations: smoked provolone, pesto, or marinated zucchini instead of tomatoes… all Mediterranean and clever.
