The recipe for the Milanese apple cake is very simple, create a batter with eggs, flour, chopped almonds or hazelnuts, sugar, and apples, and pour it into the cake pan, it’s a low cake perfect for a guilt-free break.

Traditionally, this cake is made with panettone, a typical Christmas dessert, but this version allows us to enjoy it at other times, it’s very good and light.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Steps

  • Butter and flour a 8-inch pan and pour the mixture, level it, then bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve.
