  • Beat the eggs with the sugar until doubled in volume.

  • Gradually add the sifted flour with the baking powder, alternating with the milk in 2-3 batches.

  • Add a pinch of salt and the chocolate chips, mix a bit then pour everything into a 7-8 inch mold

  • For a plain ring mold of 8-9 inches, you can double the dose.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes, however, make sure to perform a toothpick test before removing from oven.
