Neapolitan Sweet Torrone dei Morti with Chocolate

It melts in your mouth and is excellent even if you vary the dessert, for example with a white shell and dark chocolate filling with Nutella, and you can replace hazelnuts with almonds or walnuts.

Chocolate nougat of the dead Neapolitan sweet

Ingredients

  • 7 oz dark chocolate 60-69%
  • 14 oz white chocolate
  • 14 oz Nutella®
  • 7 oz hazelnuts

Steps

  • Melt the dark chocolate and spread it inside a mold, making sure to cover all the walls well. A silicone loaf pan will be perfect, or a metal mold lined with plastic wrap.

  • Melt the white chocolate, add the Nutella and hazelnuts, and mix well, then pour it into the mold, level it out, and put it in the freezer to solidify.

A very simple idea that everyone will surely like. It can be stored at room temperature or in the fridge. You can give it as a gift wrapped in foil. My version is a single-portion made by pouring the chocolate into a mini loaf pan mold, also great by adding more dried fruit like hazelnuts and pistachios.
