Ingredients
- 2 Apples
- 1 Egg
- 5 oz Fresh cream (or crème fraîche)
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Potato starch
- Half packet Vanillin
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- Half tsp Salt
- 9 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Water (cold)
- 3 tbsp Sugar
Preparation
Prepare the base dough, pour the flour on the work surface and make a hole in the center, add the sugar, cold butter cut into cubes with the salt, water and mix.
The dough should be smooth and homogeneous, not sticky.
Roll it out on the floured surface and place it in a 8-9 inch tart pan
Cut one or two apples into slices and arrange them on the base in a fan shape.
Mix the cream or crème fraîche with the starch, sugar, egg, and vanillin.
Pour the cream over the apples and bake in a hot oven at 395°F (convection) for 30 minutes.
