Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3.5 oz white nougat
  • 5 oz chocolate
  • 2 tbsp orange flavoring

Steps

  • Prepare the orange paste HERE or tangerine paste HERE and set aside.

  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler with 1/4 cup of water or milk or cream.

  • Cut the nougat into pieces and place it in a jug or food processor, add the nougat except for a few tablespoons that will be used for decoration and the orange paste (optional).

  • Whip everything with electric beaters, line a loaf pan with plastic wrap and pour in the mixture, level it and place in the freezer for an hour.

  • After the time has elapsed, remove the dessert from the freezer, place it on the serving plate and decorate with the chocolate and nougat, put back in the freezer until ready to serve.

  • Keep in mind that if you use orange or tangerine paste the semifreddo won’t freeze, so you can comfortably keep it in the freezer.
