- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 2 people
- Cooking methods: Frying
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Winter
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch vanillin
- 1 pinch salt
- lemon zest
- as needed Nutella®
Steps
Pour the flours into a bowl or mixer, add the baking powder, vanillin, grated lemon zest and mix, add the soft butter cut into pieces, the egg, and the salt.
Knead well then form a rather large log and divide it into pieces of about 1 3/4 oz, flatten them and fill the center with a bit of nutella.
Close and roll them, it doesn’t matter if they open at some point because during cooking the nutella will not come out.
Fry as usual, I used a fryer but a high-sided pan works just fine.
Let them drain on kitchen paper, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Bon appétit
