Nutella Cloud Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • Half packet baking powder
  • 5 oz ricotta cheese
  • as needed Nutella®

Preparation

  • Beat the eggs with the sugar until they double in volume, then add the ricotta and continue to mix.

  • Slowly add the sifted flour with the baking powder, mix well, and pour the mixture into a greased and floured 9-inch pan.

  • Add Nutella with a teaspoon, allowing it to sink a bit; the mixture is quite dense, so if you don’t let it sink, it will remain on top.

  • Alternatively, you can pour half of the mixture, add the Nutella, and then cover with the remaining half of the mixture.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F and cook for 20-25 minutes. Test with a toothpick before removing from the oven.
