Ingredients

For the recipe, a ready pizza dough is perfect, or prepare a dough with instant yeast like THIS.

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 7 oz cooked ham
  • 14 oz beef (strips)
  • 18 oz provola cheese
  • lettuce
  • mayonnaise

Steps

  • Dissolve the yeast in the water, pour the flour into a bowl and add the water, mix and knead, finally add the salt and knead well.

  • Form a ball and let it rest until doubled in size, about 2 to 3 hours.

  • Cook the meat in a pan with a little oil and a closed lid, it should remain tender.

  • After rising, place the dough on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, greased, and make a rectangle as long as the baking sheet and about 4-5 inches wide.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 482°F (maximum) for 5 minutes then lower the temperature to 428°F and bake for another 10 minutes, always check the oven.

  • Remove from the oven, place on the countertop, let it cool slightly and fill with lettuce, meat, slices of ham, and provola slices.

  • Put it back in the oven and bake for 3-5 minutes, just enough time to melt the provola.

  • Take it out of the oven and cut into 3 parts, fill with mayonnaise if you like.
