Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (the one you usually use)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon instant baking powder (for savory preparations)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 sausage
  • 3 oz provola cheese

Steps

  • Remove the sausage casing and crumble the sausage, place it in the air fryer basket and cook at 374°F for 4 minutes or cook it in a pan.

  • Pour the flour into a bowl or into the food processor, add the baking powder and the salt, then add the egg and mix. Add the water little by little, stirring constantly.

  • If needed, add more water or flour; the important thing is that the dough is not sticky.

  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out circles with a 4-inch cutter, fill the center with pieces of sausage and provola.

  • Fold in half, seal the edges and place them in the air fryer basket, brush with oil and cook at 374°F for 8 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking.
