PARMESAN AND BACON SWIRLS with puff pastry, appetizer or snack ready in 5 minutes, delicious recipe perfect for parties, ideal Christmas aperitif.

The PARMESAN AND BACON SWIRLS with puff pastry are the perfect snack when you crave something tasty but have zero desire to cook! Crunchy, golden, and fragrant, these swirls are one of those “smart” recipes that save your aperitif, last-minute dinner, or an impromptu Christmas buffet. Plus, they are prepared in less than 10 minutes with only three ingredients: puff pastry, bacon, and parmesan.

Fresh out of the oven, the aroma invading the kitchen is wonderful: the melting parmesan, the bacon becoming crispy, and the perfectly golden puff pastry… in short, they disappear from the tray in two minutes! 😋

It’s a recipe I often make, especially during the holidays: a quick and impressive appetizer, loved by everyone (including children) and can be served both warm and at room temperature. Perfect to bring to a friend’s house for an aperitif or to prepare in advance — just warm them up in the oven for a few minutes before serving, and they become fragrant as if freshly made!

Smart tips from a blogger in the kitchen:
Use rectangular puff pastry, it’s easier to roll and cut.
Add a touch of rosemary or black pepper to the mix for an even more pronounced aroma.
If you want a more intense flavor, add a bit of smoked scamorza or grated pecorino.
For a “wow effect” aperitif, alternate swirls of bacon and parmesan with swirls of ham and olives.
