Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons water (or white wine)
Steps
Pour the flour into a bowl, add the yeast, salt, honey and mix, add the egg and parmesan, you can increase the amount if you want, and mix everything.
Knead well, do not add too much flour if it’s a bit sticky but oil your hands, tear the dough into pieces, make balls and widen in the center to form a hole.
Heat the oil in a tall pan and cook the donuts by turning them, for a few minutes, until golden.
Drain on kitchen paper and serve with a sprinkle of parmesan or dried chives.
