Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 tsp fresh yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- tomato sauce
- 3 oz provola cheese
Steps
For the recipe, you can use ready-made pizza dough from the refrigerated section at the supermarket or from the bakery.
Dissolve the yeast in the water, pour the flour into a bowl, and add the water little by little, mixing gradually. Finally, add the salt and knead well.
Form a ball and let it rest in a bowl covered with plastic wrap for about two hours.
Once risen, roll out the dough on the work surface, form a rectangle, and cut it into 6 parts.
Fill the center with tomato sauce and a piece of provola, then take the opposite edges and overlap them well, tightly so they don’t open during baking.
Sprinkle with oregano and bake in a hot oven at 355°F for 15 minutes.
