Ingredients
- 24 cookies
- 2 cups custard (with a mixture of milk and cream)
Steps
Prepare the custard HERE. Work the egg yolks with the sugar in a saucepan, add the flour or starch and continue to whisk by hand.
For the recipe, I used a mixture of milk and cream. You can use only milk if you prefer, then add it gradually to the yolks, always whisking.
Move to the stovetop and continue to whisk until it thickens. Then transfer the cream to a container, cover it with cling film, and let it cool.
When the cream is cool, place a layer on the bottom of a baking dish and arrange the cookies alternating with the cream.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
