PUFF PASTRY BOXES with CHEESES, a tasty appetizer to make in a few minutes, perfect idea to bring to the holiday table, easy and quick basket.
The tasty appetizer that saves any holiday lunch when you have little time but want to impress as someone who can cook under pressure. I made these puff pastry baskets in a few minutes because I was looking for a quick Christmas appetizer, simple, delicious, and above all scenic to place in the center of the table without too much fuss. And I swear: the puff pastry boxes with cheeses make more of an impression than the roast.
The great thing about these puff pastry boxes filled with cheeses is that they require few ingredients, zero complications, and a lot of satisfaction. The puff pastry becomes crispy and golden, filled with the preferred cheeses, perfect for appetizers, aperitifs, and holiday buffets. These are the recipes you make at the last minute but seem planned for a week (don’t tell anyone: it’s the power of puff pastry).
You can fill them however you like: soft cheeses, robiola, gorgonzola, scamorza, provola… any combination is valid. And if you want to make them even cuter, add nuts, honey, granules, or a bit of speck: they become irresistible. This is truly the clever, elegant, and super-fast Christmas appetizer that pleases everyone.
