Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry
- 5.3 oz speck
- 3.5 oz smoked scamorza
- as needed egg yolk
Preparation
Remove the pastry sheets from the fridge at least 10 minutes before using and roll them out on the work surface.
Stuff a pastry sheet with slices of speck, you can obviously use more if you prefer, and you can cut the speck into pieces.
Slice the scamorza and arrange it on the speck then close with the other pastry sheet, flatten a bit with your hands and pierce with a fork.
With a knife, mark a grid of 5 by 10 squares without separating them, leave them like a quilt.
Brush with the egg yolk, bake in a preheated oven at 392°F and cook for 10-12 minutes.
Bon appétit
