PUFF PASTRY ROLLS with GORGONZOLA and Speck with walnuts, a quick appetizer, a tasty snack to make in 5 minutes with puff pastry, perfect for buffets and Christmas parties.

PUFF PASTRY ROLLS with GORGONZOLA and Speck with walnuts, the quick appetizer you’d want to prepare every day, not just for Christmas holidays. A simple, crunchy, creamy, and perfectly salty recipe ideal for appetizers, buffets, dinners with friends, Christmas lunches… in short, any excuse is good to bake them!

Puff pastry rolls are a never without, especially when filled with a delicious filling like creamy gorgonzola, crispy speck, and chopped walnuts: a trio that never disappoints.

They are the smart appetizer you can prepare in just 5 minutes: roll out the pastry, spread the gorgonzola, add speck and walnuts, roll, cut, and into the oven. And in less time than it takes to choose a series on Netflix, you have perfect savory rolls to serve hot and cheesy.
In short: zero stress, maximum effect, guaranteed wow factor.

I love them because they always work: perfect for a last-minute dinner, an impromptu aperitif, as a welcome snack or as an idea for an unusual Christmas appetizer. Puff pastry is my favorite ally when I want to bring something good to the table without going crazy, and with the gorgonzola-speck-walnut filling, it becomes even more irresistible.

And the best part? Everyone loves them. Even those who always complain about everything at Christmas.
(We all have that one relative, right? 😅)

Smart tips for perfect rolls

Add a drizzle of honey on the speck before rolling: it enhances the gorgonzola and walnuts incredibly well.
Use rectangular pastry: it rolls better and creates more regular rolls.
Want a lighter version? Use lactose-free gorgonzola or replace it with robiola.
For a more festive taste: add a pinch of nutmeg.
Can they be prepared in advance? Sure! Cut them, place them in the freezer on a tray, and cook them directly from frozen.
