FAQ PUFF PASTRY STOCKING WITH SPECK AND PROVOLA

  • Can I use another cold cut instead of speck?

Yes, cooked ham, bacon, or sweet salami are also fine.

  • What cheese can be used instead of provola?

You can use mozzarella, processed cheese slice, or a spreadable cheese like Certosa or Stracchino.

  • Can the puff pastry stocking be cooked in an air fryer?

Absolutely yes! It obviously needs to be quite large otherwise it won’t fit, or make smaller stockings.

  • Can it be prepared in advance?

Certainly! But I recommend baking it shortly before, otherwise the puff pastry loses its crunchiness.
