Ingredients
- 20 cookies (puff pastry)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 oz instant coffee
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
Steps
Mix the egg yolk with the sugar using a hand whisk, add the flour and mix again then heat the milk and slowly pour it over the yolk, stirring constantly with the whisk until it thickens.
Put the cream in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it cool, then whip the cream and combine the two mixtures.
Spread a little cream at the bottom of a baking dish, make a layer of puff pastry, then fill with cream and cookies until the ingredients are used up.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
