PUFF PASTRY with PANDORO, NUTELLA, and CREAM, a creamy dessert ready in no time, ideal for the Christmas holidays, creamy and very delicious.
The Puff Pastry with Pandoro, Nutella, and Cream is my favorite Christmas dessert when I have no time and a huge craving for something creamy and delicious. It’s the classic ‘arrive with a pandoro under your arm and let’s make magic’ recipe, perfect for the Christmas holidays, to recycle leftovers, and to make a great impression in just five minutes.
The trick is all in the slicing of the pandoro: just a few thin layers are enough to create a puff pastry that’s crispy on the outside and soft inside, embracing the slightly melted Nutella and super soft whipped cream. No baking, no waiting, just pure immediate satisfaction. It’s a simple, scenic dessert ideal as a dessert after Christmas or New Year’s lunch, especially when the kitchen is a battlefield and you just want something good without stress.
To make it even more irresistible, you can add chopped hazelnuts, chocolate chips, or some blueberries for color. It can be prepared in advance and kept in the fridge: indeed, after half an hour it becomes even more compact and sliceable, like a true Christmas puff pastry made with pandoro.
It’s a party saver recipe that everyone likes: adults, children, and even those who ‘never eat pandoro’ (spoiler: this way they’ll definitely eat it).

SMART TIPS
Use slightly toasted pandoro for a crunchier layer.
Warm the Nutella for a few seconds to spread it better.

FAQ PUFF PASTRY with PANDORO, NUTELLA, and CREAM
Can panettone be used instead of pandoro?
Yes, it turns out delicious, just a bit richer thanks to the candied fruits.
Can I prepare the puff pastry with pandoro, Nutella, and cream the day before?
Better not: it stays perfect for up to 8-10 hours, then it will soften too much.
Can the cream be replaced?
Of course: whipped mascarpone, milk cream, or chocolate cream.
