- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry sheets
- 8.8 oz speck
- 7 oz smoked provola cheese
- 8 cherry tomatoes
Preparation
P.S. The wreath in the picture is made with half of the mentioned doses.
Take the pastry sheets out of the fridge 10 minutes before using them, then cut into 3 strips lengthwise, approximately 3.5 inches wide.
You will only use 4 strips, fill them with speck slices and provola then roll them to form 4 rolls.
Pair the rolls and twist them together to create 2 “braids.”
Place half of the wreath on a baking pan lined with parchment paper, and add the other half to form a circle.
Decorate with quartered cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of oregano, bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, add rosemary sprigs, decorate the center with arugula and pieces of speck if you like.
Bon appétit
