QUICK DONUTS filled with jam

Ingredients

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (or 2)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3.5 oz ricotta
  • Half packet baking powder
  • 3/4 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • jam

Steps

  • Pour the flour with the baking powder and sugar into a bowl, add the ricotta, butter, and 1 egg yolk and mix.

  • Work well until you get a smooth, soft dough, then divide it into pieces, or roll it out and cut it into rectangles of at least 2.5-3 inches.

  • Fill with a thin layer of jam, roll up, and close into a donut shape.

  • Brush with a mixture of egg yolk and a little milk, then sprinkle with granulated sugar.

  • Place them on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, bake at 356°F for about 15-20 minutes.
