Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tsp lemon juice
Preparation
Beat the eggs with sugar until doubled in volume.
Gradually add the sifted flour with the baking powder while mixing.
Alternate with milk, oil, and lemon juice; finally add lemon zest and chocolate chips.
Butter and flour a 1 kg pandoro mold, pour the mixture, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Perform a toothpick test before removing from the oven; if needed, extend by a few minutes, then remove and let cool before slicing.
