Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 2.8 oz extra virgin olive oil
- 0.6 cup water
- 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
- 2.8 oz ham
- 2.5 oz scamorza
- 1 tsp salt
Steps
Preheat the oven to 356°F
In a bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk, add the oil and water then the flour with the yeast a little at a time.
If the mixture seems a bit dense, add a few tablespoons of water or oil, it should still be soft.
Add the diced scamorza and ham, mix well, pour everything into a baking pan lined with parchment paper about 14 inches x 10 inches and bake for 25 minutes.
Of course, always check the oven, it should brown on the surface, do the toothpick test, it should come out dry.
The rustic pie is about 1.2 inches high and perfect for 30 pieces.
