The recipe for pizza loaves is very simple, they are kneaded by hand, rolled out, and cooked in a skillet, then filled in 5 minutes with very simple ingredients we usually have in the fridge.

Great filled as you like, with tuna, with speck and provolone, they cook in a skillet but you can also bake them if you prefer.

Quick Skillet Pizza Loaves

Ingredients

  • 7 oz all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 packet instant yeast for savory preparations
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 1/2 oz zucchini
  • 3 1/2 oz cherry tomatoes
  • 7 oz provolone

Steps

  • Prepare the dough, place the flour in a bowl with the yeast, mix, and add the salt, add the oil and water, knead well then divide the dough into 4 pieces or 2 if you prefer.

  • Form balls and let them rest for 10 minutes, then roll them out and form the loaves.

  • Oil a skillet, place the loaves, and cook with a lid on top, then flip them and cook the other side.

  • Remove from the pan, fill with tomatoes and chopped provolone, add grated zucchini, oil, and sprinkle with oregano.
