The recipe for quick skillet pizza is very simple, made with flour, instant yeast, oil, and water, cooked in a pan, and topped with whatever you have available. I used tomato sauce, olives, and provola.

It’s very good, crispy on the bottom and soft on top, perfect if you don’t have time to wait for rising. Cook it and put it under the grill for a few minutes, definitely perfect.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
  • tomato sauce
  • 5 oz provola cheese
  • 3 tbsps black olives

Steps

  • Pour the flour with the yeast, salt, oil, and water into a bowl and mix.

  • Pour the mixture onto a floured work surface and shape the pizza, oil a pan and place it in the pan.

  • Oil and cook for 5 minutes, then flip it and top with tomato sauce, olives, and provola, enrich with oregano and a drizzle of oil, cook for about 10 minutes on low heat.

  • Turn the oven grill to high and transfer the pizza, cook for a few minutes.
