I love them stuffed in all sorts of ways, I often prepare them when I’m short on time, and you can optionally add a bit of instant yeast, but we like them as they are, they are delicious.
They are great with ham and potatoes, especially for kids, or with broccoli rabe and sausage, tuna tomatoes, and arugula.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup water
- 2.1 oz speck
- 3.2 oz smoked provola cheese
- 0.5 oz arugula
Preparation
Pour the flour into a bowl, add the water and knead well, the dough should be smooth.
Divide it into 3 pieces then roll them out to a height of 0.16 inches, forming ovals.
Oil a pan, place the toasts, only two will fit, cover with a lid and cook, turning them over.
Stuff with slices of smoked provola and speck, leave for a few more minutes in the pan with the lid on to melt the cheese.
Add the arugula and serve.
