Of course, they can be filled as you like, I had cooked ham and provola cheese in the fridge, but they’re also delicious with speck or vegetables like artichokes, chard or friarielli, spinach, and eggs.

Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp fresh brewer's yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 7 oz cooked ham
- 5 oz provola cheese (or fiordilatte)
Steps
Dissolve the yeast in the water, add the flour little by little, add the salt and knead well, make a ball and let it rest in a bowl covered with plastic wrap until doubled.
After the time has passed, take the dough and roll it out on a floured surface, fill with ham and provola pieces then roll it up.
Cut the roll into 10-12 pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with oil and let rest for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 355°F, bake and cook for 15 minutes.
