Steps
If you want to make the stars as well, you will need two rolls of puff pastry; if you want a richer appetizer, you will need 3 rolls, one to cover the filling.
Place the puff pastry on the work surface and spread it with cream cheese like Philadelphia or stracchino, robiola, whatever you prefer.
Add the salmon cut into pieces or strips.
Add the salmon cut into pieces or strips.
At this point, you can cover with another puff pastry, or leave it simple as I did.
Form a sort of spiral starting from a wider base to the top, smaller by gradually bringing the puff pastry over the preceding one scaling down.
Skewer them with sticks and place them on the baking tray lined with paper.
Cut out stars with 2 different-sized cookie cutters and place them on the tray.
Bake at 356°F for about 10-15 minutes.
Remove from oven, cut the skewers if they are too long, and add the two stars, a large one at the base, the smaller one at the top.
Bon appétit
