Ingredients
- Puff Pastry (rectangular)
- 2 sausages
- 2 Artichokes
- 3.5 oz Mozzarella
- 1 clove Garlic
Preparation
Clean the artichokes, remove the tougher outer leaves and the inner fuzz.
Slice them into thin strips.
Brown the garlic in a large pan and add the artichokes, add a little water and cover with a lid.
Cook for about 10 minutes, then crumble the sausages and add them to the artichokes, cook well, for another 5-7 minutes.
Roll out the pastry, position the short side towards you and make diagonal cuts on both sides.
Remove the two opposing strips both above and below the rectangle to obtain two flaps.
Fill the center with the artichokes and sausages, add sliced mozzarella, bring the two flaps over the filling to seal it.
Start braiding the strips and seal the braid well.
Place it on the baking sheet lined with pastry and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F (convection).
Bake for 20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
