SAVORY PIE POTATOES and SALAMI

Ingredients

  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 2 1/2 cups potatoes
  • 3 1/2 oz Neapolitan salami
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2.8 oz provolone

Steps

  • Boil the potatoes then mash them with a potato masher and collect the puree in a bowl.

  • Add the egg, salt, and pepper to taste and mix.

  • Place the puff pastry on the surface, fill half with the puree, add the slices of salami, provolone pieces, Parmesan cheese and close by bringing the other half of the puff pastry over the filling.

  • Make cuts on the puff pastry, seal the edges and cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 392°F then turn and cook for another 5 minutes, if your fryer has a grill underneath do not turn it.

  • Or bake in the oven at 356°F for 20-25 minutes
