I propose seafood-based New Year’s Eve appetizers, as tradition generally dictates that everything is seafood-based from appetizer to main dish and second course.

Simple and tasty ideas that you can also prepare in advance and freeze, perfect also for children and ideal for many occasions including Sunday lunch.

The New Year’s Eve appetizers I propose are simple to make or quick recipes, obviously except for some leavened items that you can prepare beforehand and freeze.

If you don’t like some ingredients, you can easily remove or replace them with others that you prefer.

For a seafood-based dinner, salmon is perfect, but we can also use tuna or surimi to prepare a more economical menu.

Delicious vegetables like zucchini, even if they are out of season, are always good for an appetizer.
