Ingredients
- 3.5 oz butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 0.5 oz orange
- 0.25 cup sugar
- Half packet baking powder
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg white
- 2 teaspoons orange juice
Steps
Preheat the oven to 356°F
Blend the orange peel, then the fruit without the white part and seeds, and add the 1/4 cup of sugar indicated in the recipe.
Cream the butter with the sugar, then add the flours, the eggs one at a time, and the orange mixture.
Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan or a 20 cm (8 inch) pan and bake for about 40 minutes.
With the Bimby: Pour the sugar into the bowl at speed 10 for 10 seconds to powder it, add the butter at speed 3 for 20 seconds, then add the eggs, flours, orange paste, and baking powder, speed 5 for 50 seconds.
For the glaze: Pour the powdered sugar, egg white, and orange juice a little at a time into the robot until you find the preferred consistency, if more or less translucent, if it’s too thick, just add a little juice, blend and it’s ready.
Remove the orange bread from the oven, let it cool a little and cover it with the glaze.
