SOFT YOGURT CAKE without butter, an easy and quick breakfast cake, perfect for an afternoon snack; a light grandmother’s bundt made with oil and scented with lemon.
The other day I wanted to prepare a simple cake for breakfast — something soft, fragrant and above all easy to make. So I prepared this soft yogurt cake without butter, one of those recipes that always works and fills the kitchen with a wonderful scent while it bakes in the oven.
It’s the classic grandmother’s bundt, but even lighter because it’s made with oil and yogurt instead of butter. The result is a soft, tall cake intensely scented with lemon, perfect to enjoy at breakfast with milk or coffee or as an afternoon snack with a cup of hot tea. It’s one of those homemade grandmother’s cakes that everyone agrees on and that disappear quickly from the table.
