Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch vanillin
  • 1 cup custard
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 7 oz wild strawberries
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Steps

  • Prepare the custard following the recipe here and set aside in a bowl covered with plastic wrap in contact.

  • Whip the cream and add it to the custard.

  • Moisten the sponge cake with some alchermes, fill with the diplomat cream, add the strawberries, and cover with the other layer of sponge cake.

  • Decorate with more cream and add some strawberries, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
