The recipe for the salmon and avocado appetizers is perfect if you’re looking for something simple and tasty to make for the upcoming holidays, just a few ingredients for a really great result.
Of course, you can enrich the appetizers as you like, maybe adding slices of avocado or you can replace mascarpone with Philadelphia or another spreadable cheese.
I used sandwich bread, but regular white bread with the crusts removed or bruschetta bread or rolled flatbread or rolled white bread for something more fancy and scenic is also fine.

Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 4 slices sandwich bread

Steps
Cut the bread with a star-shaped Christmas cutter; you should be able to get 6 stars from each slice.
Cut the avocado into pieces and place it in a pitcher, add the mascarpone, salt, white pepper, and a splash of lemon juice to prevent browning, blend everything with an immersion blender.
Spread the cream on half of the appetizers, make a hole in the center of the others with another smaller cutter, and pair them.
