Ingredients

  • Pavesini (package)
  • 18 oz strawberries
  • 8.8 oz mascarpone
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 lemon
  • 3.5 oz sugar

Steps

  • Peel the lemon, place the peel, without the white part, in a blender, add 1.75 oz of sugar and blend.

  • Remove the white part from the lemon and place the segments, seedless, in the blender and blend.

  • Whip the cream and add the lemon juice, the cream will curdle, this is normal.

  • Add the mascarpone to the cream and mix well, add a bit of milk if it seems too thick.

  • Cut the strawberries into pieces, set aside some for the final decoration and place the others in a saucepan with 1/3 cup of water and the remaining sugar, cook for 5 minutes.

  • The strawberries should soften and you should obtain a sort of syrup.

  • Make a layer of cookies in a dish, soak with the strawberry juice, add the cream and a bit of soak to spread it better.
