Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups strawberries
  • cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (in cream)
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)

Steps

  • Wash and cut the strawberries in half or into quarters and place them in a pan, add ⅓-½ cup of water and cook on low heat until softened, you can add sugar if you prefer.

  • When the strawberries are ready, let them cool a bit and place them in a container with the almonds, blend with an immersion blender until you get a smooth and creamy consistency.

  • I preferred a crunchy effect, obviously, the more you blend, the smoother the mixture will be, add coconut oil in cream form for extra smoothness or a bit of olive oil.

  • Store the cream in a glass jar in the fridge for about 3 days or divide it into small jars and freeze, it’s great for enriching ice creams.
