Ingredients

  • 2 3/8 cups flour (the one you usually use)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • lemon zest
  • Half lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 10 1/2 oz honey
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Steps

  • Pour the flour into a bowl with a tablespoon of sugar and the baking soda, add the lemon zest, juice, the melted butter, and mix.

  • Add the eggs and the yolk, the white wine, mix again, and work the dough well.

  • Divide the dough into pieces and form little rolls, cut them into pieces, roll them in your hands and place them on the counter, put a portion in the fryer, oil well, and cook at 375°F for 5 minutes then turn them and cook for another 5 minutes.

  • Place them on a plate and sprinkle with oil and granulated sugar, add the colored sprinkles, and serve.
