Stuffed Veal Roll Wrapped in Ham

Of course, you can enrich it as you like, vegetables or hard-boiled eggs or a mix of cold cuts are great if you like them. I used cooked ham for the wrapping, but you can use raw ham or speck if you prefer.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Veal (single slice)
  • 5.25 oz Asiago
  • 7 oz Cooked ham
  • to taste Parsley
  • to taste Salt

Preparation

  • Flatten a slice of veal well, stuff it with slices of cooked ham, cheese, and parsley, then roll it up.

  • Wrap it with more slices of ham and place it in parchment paper in a loaf pan.

  • Lightly oil it, brush with a drizzle of oil, and bake at 350°F for about 30-40 minutes.

  • When cooked, remove the meat from the oven, take the sauce, and put it in a saucepan with one or two tablespoons of flour.

  • Let it thicken and use it to dress the slices of meat.
