- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 3
- Cooking methods: No cooking
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 4 slices sandwich bread
- 0.71 oz speck
- 2.11 tbsp mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp ricotta
- 2 olives
Steps
Obviously, depending on the size of the molds, the amount of bread needed for the canapés varies.
Cut the bread with a 2-inch star-shaped cutter, each canapé consists of 3 overlapping stars, like the typical puff pastry vol au vent, one whole and two with holes.
Then make the hole with a smaller star in two canapés for each vol au vent, so you’ll need to make 6 holes.
Mix the ricotta with a bit of pepper, salt to taste, and spread it on the first canapé, then pair it with the others. I placed them turned over, but they stack well on top of each other. Fill the center with more ricotta.
Add the speck and a chopped olive, sprinkle with oregano and cover the canapé with mayonnaise.
Bon appétit
