How delicious are panzerotti? Super tasty, the perfect snack to enjoy at dinner prepared in 10 minutes, yes, the water and flour panzerotti with ham are super fast.

No yeast or rising time, a simple dough of just water and flour, rolled out, cut, and filled with ham and mozzarella, they’re fried but you can also bake them.

The recipe for water and flour panzerotti is perfect if you need to prepare a quick dinner, they can be cooked in a pan, with a fryer, or in the oven, I prefer them fried because they’re obviously tastier.

You can fill them with whatever you have in the fridge, I never run out of cold cuts, ham and speck and mozzarella, but vegetables like spinach or broccoli or zucchini are perfect, so you can vary them according to the season.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/3 tbsp water
  • 1.8 oz cooked ham
  • 1 oz mozzarella

Preparation

  • Prepare the dough, pour the flour into a mixer, add the water and blend everything, of course you can do it by hand or with a stand mixer.

  • Take the dough and roll it out on a lightly floured surface, cut it with a 4-inch cutter or as you prefer.

  • Fill with pieces of ham and mozzarella then fold in half and seal the edges well by cutting with a wheel or with a fork.

  • Heat the oil in a high-edged pan or in the fryer as I did and cook them well on all sides.
