- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 5 oz cooked ham
- 3 1/2 oz provola cheese
Steps
Pour the flour into a bowl, add the salt, oil, and water gradually.
Let the water absorb, work the dough on a slightly floured surface.
The dough should be firm, not sticky, workable without issues; if needed, add a bit of flour.
Roll out the dough thinly, a couple of millimeters, form two large rectangles for convenience, and divide them into rectangles about 4 inches by 6 inches.
Stuff with ham and provola cut into thin slices, roll them up and cut them in half, or you can leave them larger if you prefer.
Place them on the oven tray lined with paper, brush them with a bit of oil, and bake in the hot oven at 392°F.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes, don’t let them burn on top, keep an eye on your oven.
