The Feteer meshaltet, often simply referred to as feteer ( فطير ), is a flaky layered pastry from Egypt that alternates thin layers of dough with ghee (or clarified butter) and an optional filling, often called Egyptian pizza.
➡️The fillings can be either sweet or savory.
➡️Sweet fillings can include coconut, mehalabiya, malban, or chocolate.
➡️Savory fillings may be minced meat, sausage, or cheese.
➡️The simple feteer is usually soaked in honey and spread with jam or cheese or served with olives.
➡️➡️It dates back to ancient Egypt, where it was known as “feteer maltoot”. It was left in temples as an offering to the gods.
Another recipe for “fateer” – meant as layered pastry – on the blog, has a filling of onions and is:

Add desired fillings to each layer (honey, meat, spinach or cheese).
Shape to the form of the round baking pan, brush with more ghee, cover with a cloth for 15 minutes.
Bake in oven at 428°F for 10 minutes.
I used ghee from ITS Shop which you can purchase on the site: https://www.shop-its.com/it
If you want, you can serve the simple Feteer meshaltet, without filling, by soaking it in honey.
