Extra Idea

You can replace the sugar with two tablespoons of honey and add some dried raisins previously soaked in water or a dessert wine, to make the chestnut cake even more delicious and rich. Choose the fruit mix you prefer or a version with only pine nuts or only walnuts, which I find fantastic.
