Christmas is getting closer and so we also think about breakfast or snacks for the festive days. In our house, we all love the classic Neapolitan mostacciolo with its unique taste. Mostaccioli are delicious traditional Christmas cookies, diamond-shaped and spiced, soft inside and crunchy outside. So I thought of making the MOSTACCIOLI PLUMCAKE. A plumcake with a completely Christmas taste, ideal for festive breakfasts. It’s super soft and has a chocolatey and crunchy exterior with dark chocolate and almonds! Awesome!!!

Bake in a hot oven at 350°F for about 40-45 minutes. Let it cool. Then melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave. Let it cool slightly and then pour it over the plumcake.
On the surface, sprinkle some almond crumbs. Let the chocolate cool or better yet, solidify. Now you just have to enjoy it, maybe accompanied by a nice cup of tea.
