Dark chocolate peanuts, an easy and quick recipe perfect as a gift idea.
Just let the chocolate solidify well in the refrigerator, divide it into pieces, and then pack them in food gift bags or cute jars.
To melt the dark chocolate, I explain how I did it using the microwave, but in reality, even for the less experienced, it is possible to use the double boiler method, placing a saucepan with water on the stove, and then placing a suitable container on top, like another saucepan with handles, making sure that the water never comes into contact with the chocolate. Then stir with a spatula or a wooden or silicone spoon until the chocolate is completely melted.
For this operation, to avoid unpleasant incidents, keep the flame low.
Below I leave you some of my ideas to make delicious treats not just for Christmas with chocolate
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Rest time: 2 Minutes
- Preparation time: 1 Minute
- Cooking methods: Double boiler, Microwave
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Christmas
Ingredients
- 4 1/4 oz 60% dark chocolate
- 2 1/8 oz peanuts (unsalted, toasted)
Tools
- 1 Baking Tray
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Microwave
- 1 Teaspoon
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Refrigerator
Steps
To make Dark Chocolate Peanuts, first melt the dark chocolate as you prefer.
I opted to use the microwave after breaking the dark chocolate into pieces in a glass bowl.
Melt it at 800w for 2 minutes in several stages, leaving some pieces intact.
In this manner, by stirring the chocolate, you will temper it for a better final result.
Add the peanuts all at once and mix them to get a homogeneous mixture.
Pour the mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread it out to the desired thickness with a spatula.
Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least two hours or until the chocolate is well solidified.
Store in the refrigerator, well covered with food wrap, until ready to use or consume, within 8 days of preparation at most.
