MEATBALLS IN BROTH

in

Every time I make MEATBALLS IN BROTH, it’s like going back to childhood, the recipe for tender and delicious meatballs cooked in broth just like my grandmother used to make. Perfect for any occasion, but they were never missing at Christmas; my grandmother made them either to eat alone or with soup, a sweet memory!

Today I prepare them for my family, my children love them and my husband adores them! I made the meatballs in broth just yesterday and cooked them in broth made with KNORR CLASSIC STOCK CUBE, a tasty and genuine broth just like homemade; very easy to use, just put a KNORR CLASSIC STOCK CUBE in water and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve it. My meatballs cooked in broth with the KNORR CLASSIC STOCK CUBE turned out delicious, just like my grandmother used to make!

Now follow me in the recipe as we prepare grandma’s meatballs in broth together, the main dish you absolutely must try because it’s too good, simple, and genuine!

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 people
  • Cooking methods: Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 3 Knorr Classic Stock Cubes
  • 14.11 oz ground veal
  • 1 egg
  • to taste fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsps grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 slices sandwich bread
  • to taste milk
  • to taste salt
  • 8 cups water

Steps

  • To prepare the meatballs in broth, start by putting the ground meat in a large bowl with the egg, Parmesan, and a little salt.

Finely chop some parsley leaves and add this to the bowl as well.

Soak the bread in a little milk, squeeze it, and add it to the rest of the ingredients in the bowl.

  • With your hands, start working the ingredients well, kneading everything until you have a homogeneous mixture. If you like, you can also add a small clove of minced garlic. From the mixture, with your hands moistened with water, shape the meatballs; they should be small, smaller than a walnut. Place all the meatballs obtained on a plate.

  • Bring the water to a boil in a pot with 3 KNORR CLASSIC STOCK CUBES. Put the meatballs in and cook them for about 25 minutes in the boiling broth over medium-low heat. Once cooked, serve them hot with the broth, a simple yet very tasty dish, word of your Vane!

… Vane’s tips

The meatballs in broth can be stored in the fridge for two days, heat before serving.

You can also use ground chicken, in this case, the meatballs will have an even more delicate flavor.
